Local 5097 Complete Care at Harborage Bargaining Update #8

Thanks to our members making their voices heard we made some progress today on staffing, floating, and health and safety. However, a fair wage remains a significant outstanding issue.

Our members deserve wages that recognize the vital work they perform every day to take care of their residents. We are scheduled to meet again tomorrow and remain committed to reaching a fair contract.

TAKE ACTION – Until meaningful progress is made on wages, we will continue our ongoing actions in support of a fair contract.

All members should continue to wear their “Fair Contract Now” stickers. We will update everyone again after tomorrow’s bargaining session regarding any further actions we may need to take to secure the contract we deserve.
