Local 5105 Delivers Strike Notice, 6/16 at 7am Strike Begins
After 21 long and frustrating hours of bargaining, we gave management notice of our intent to STRIKE on June 16th at 7am. Management’s last offer was far from the contract that our members and our patients deserve.
As we ramp up our preparations for a strike, there are three important things you can do:
- SIGN UP FOR YOUR PICKET SHIFT: Picket Line and Strike Committee Sign Up Form

Every member needs to sign up for shifts they will take on the picket line!
- BECOME A STRIKE CAPTAIN: The Strike Captains are members who coordinate the picket line, mobilize strikers, and collaborate with the other committees to ensure victory. While we’ll be serving as strike captains along with the CAT team, we will need to recruit more members to effectively maintain our picket.

Let’s continue to show the hospital that we are willing to fight for a contract that includes enforceable nurse to patient ratios, substantially better pay, reduces the financial hardship caused by HET, and addresses health and safety.
