Welcome to Our Newest Members – Peer Recovery Specialists Join HPAE Local 5091!

HPAE Local 5091 is proud to welcome the Peer Recovery Specialists at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center to our Non-Nursing Professional Bargaining Unit.

Following the execution of a recognition agreement, Peer Recovery Specialists are now officially represented by HPAE Local 5091. This is an important milestone that ensures these dedicated professionals have a collective voice in negotiating their wages, hours, and working conditions alongside their fellow union members. The recognition agreement adds the title to the Non-Nursing Professional bargaining unit, which already represents a wide range of professional classifications at New Bridge.

In the coming weeks, HPAE representatives will meet with the new members to discuss the bargaining process, answer questions, and identify priorities for negotiations with management.
