HPAE 5094 Bargaining Update Week 12 No Contract

We made small progress with bargaining but now it’s slowing down again. Management is only bargaining with us one more day this month, September 28th. Join us for open bargaining using this link . After that, it’s been reduced to only one day per month.

The question of the week might be:

Why is bargaining taking so long?

Management refuses to address the union. Management had nothing to propose during our Sept 18 bargaining and gave us NO replies on financials (wages, raises, etc.). We anticipate a response during our October 16 bargaining session.

What can you do to move the negotiations?

  1. Wear Red and your stickers on bargaining days. Sept 28 and Oct 16
  2. Ask your coworkers to sign the petition.
  3. Use your zoom background during all meetings (if management asks you to take it down comply then email your union rep)
  4. Join the Contract Action Team; next meeting is Sept 28 7pm on zoom. Email [email protected] for more information.

  6. Attend a membership meeting and help plan our next action.
