HPAE 5089 Rutgers Open Bargaining Update and Upcoming Action
More than 50 of our members joined yesterday’s open bargaining session. Our union is only as strong as the participation of its members.
Our members got to see first-hand how management delays and disrespects our members. We showed up ready to bargain and management continues to stall.
Management was supposed to come to session at noon with responses to our financial proposals. Management did not get on until 1:30pm and did not have any financial responses.
Our next session is Wednesday, October 28th at Liberty Plaza. We are asking our members to join us in delivering the petitions to management at noon. If you have not filled out the petition, please fill it out here: https://actionnetwork.org/petitions/rutgers-nurses-standing-together-for-a-fair-contract/
We will be meeting at the circle at the CAB at noon to walk over to Liberty Plaza together. Please sign up to join us here: October 28th – Delivering Bargaining Petitions to Management – Fill out form
If you are not on the New Brunswick campus, we will also be distributing leaflets to educate community members about our contract campaign. Please sign up here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/MNRQCCF
