Where Are Our Raises? Solidarity Action 10/20 at 12:15 PM!

We have some BIG news!

Due to Rutgers cancelling our bargaining session on Friday where we were expecting to hear financial proposals, we are holding an EVEN BIGGER rally than last week! Show them that we’re here, we’re showing up, and WE WANT OUR CONTRACT NOW!

Locations, Today Tuesday, October 20th, assembling at 12:15 PM (events starting at 12:30 PM):

• Medical Science Building Courtyard, Across from 51 12th Ave, Newark-Health Sciences
• Liberty Plaza, 335 George Street, New Brunswick-Downtown

Remember to wear RED and any UNION [not Rutgers] GEAR!

Pizza will be provided after the rallies. Other Coalition of Rutgers Unions have been invited to stand with us. We are also calling on members at Rowan and University Hospital to attend if able; bargaining there will begin next year!

Can’t make the walk? There are other ways you can participate!

• We have a goal of 1000 signatures on our petition in support of bargaining.
  • The bargaining team and everyone at open bargaining plans to present it to management at the October 26th bargaining session.
  • The petition states our support for bargaining and calls on Rutgers to bargain in good faith for fair wages and a strong contract.
