Management once again rejected all our proposals to date.
We are very close to agreement on many issues. However, Rutgers finally presented a promised counter on out of title work and job reclassifications that we had to spend the bulk of the session reviewing and negotiating over.
We had our eleventh negotiations session with management. The action was quick with a lot of productive discussion. Shortly after lunch we agreed on a MOA for a new, three-year contract!!
At the start of negotiations, HPAE proposed to strengthen the target staffing levels for the Med/Surg departments by reducing the maximum number of patients for each registered nurse to 6 from the current rate of 10
