On 9/24/2024, we met with management for our second day of bargaining for our new contract. We made some progress and have two tentative agreements.
Friday, your union representatives from each facility met with Management for our quarterly Labor-Management Committee Meeting. Here is a brief summary of what we discussed.
We have confirmed that Medical Insurance coverage has been reinstated, retroactive through September 25. If you have any issues or were harmed because you were not able to get timely treatment, contact a Union officer immediately.
HPAE locals 5089 and 5094 will continue negotiating with University Hospital in Newark during this final week of contract expiration to give the employer every opportunity to bargain, safe staffing, fair wages, and benefits.
