Members of HPAE Local 509 have overwhelmingly ratified a new three-year contract that will boost wages and provide improvements in work rules and the tuition reimbursement program.
This is to notify you that the members have spoken and you voted overwhelmingly to ratify the tentative agreements that were presented yesterday at the membership meetings held throughout the day.
This tragic moment calls on us all to be compassionate not just to the families of 19 children and two adults senselessly killed yesterday in Uvalde, Texas, but also to the anguished soul of an 18-year-old who perpetrated this tragedy.
HPAE was recently notified that the negotiated wage increase for University Hospital members has been delayed and are tentatively scheduled to take effect within the next 2 pay cycles or by 6/24/2022.
Please be advised that the base rate increase for University Hospital members is expected to be finalized for the next pay cycle.
