The Nominations/Election Committee announces that there are five Local 5131 officer positions that are up for election this year. Nominations for these positions are currently being accepted by the nomination committee.
HPAE met with the Hospital on February 25th and was able to make some progress with a few non-economic proposals. The Hospital agreed to language that would protect members from being forced to work overtime shifts which is important for

The "Yes" vote was over 80% to ratify our wage package for 2022. The wage reopener proved to be successful because we were able to secure a significantly larger wage increase, market rate adjustment and additional steps.
