HPAE was recently advised by management that effective February 24th, the Hospital will begin converting .9 staff nurse positions to 1.0 positions as they become vacant.
The Nominations/Election Committee announces that there are six Local 5131 officer positions that are up for election this year. Nominations for these positions are currently being accepted by the nomination committee.

As union members and employees at HMH, we are glad to see that HMH finally recognizes their employees are not compensated properly for their value and experience when it comes to those delivering patient care at HMH facilities.
