Local 5089 Members at University Hospital Overwhelmingly Ratify Their Contract
On Wednesday, May 2nd, a vote was held to ratify a new agreement with University Hospital for one year.
Local 5094 University Hospital Ratification Vote a Huge Success!
On Friday, April 27th, we held a ratification vote for our one year agreement with University Hospital. 95% of members who turned out to vote gave the thumbs up for our new agreement.

Barnabas Partnership Update
With the Rutgers, Rutgers Health Group and RWJ Barnabas Health partnership scheduled to go into to effect on July 1, 2018, our union, HPAE, along with our union coalition partners, continue to be very concerned.
HPAE Local 5089 University Hospital ratification vote & membership meeting, May 2
On Friday April 13th, the HPAE Local 5089 Negotiating Committee was able to reach a tentative agreement that guarantees every member will receive a wage increase while strengthening our rights as union members.
Local 5030 Palisades Members Participate in Community Day of Action at St Mary's in West New York
Close to 50 blood pressure checks were performed and food was distributed to community members at St Mary’s Catholic Church in West New York.

HPAE Local 5030/Palisades to Hold a Community Day of Action, Tuesday, April 17
RN’s along with CNA’s from HPAE Local 5030 are holding a Community Day of Action by offering health screenings to those in the community that are in need of assistance.
