Please join us for a General Membership meeting on March 4th, 2025. We will be going over results of the negotiations survey and reviewing our priority proposals for contract negotiations.
On Feb. 25, 2025, HMH gave us their proposals. Instead of focusing on the staffing crisis and low pay HMH’s proposals aim to take member union rights by decreasing union representation and stating that the staffing at SOMC is “good.”
You are an important part of the plan - the contract belongs to every member, and if we are going to negotiate a good contract, we need to know what issues matter most to you.
Thank you all for making the time to get your jackets and meet your leadership! The work we do is nothing compared to the work you do day in and day out.
The day will include a program with CEUs, so it is eligible for a paid conference day for full and part timers under our contract.
The American Arbitration Association (AAA) has conducted and tallied the election for Local 5107 Officer Election. Thank you to all the members who participated in this important democratic process.
Our next membership meeting will be our Strike School on Friday, February 28 at 8:00 AM, 4:00 PM, and 8:00 PM at the Holiday Inn (151 NJ-72, Manahawkin).
Our HPAE 5138 union contract expires on April 30, 2025. On February 10, 2025, we met with Hackensack Meridian Health for our first negotiation session at the Hilton Garden Inn, Lakewood, NJ.
HPAE Members at Christ Hospital and Bayonne Medical Center WILL NOT be attending CarePoint's Townhalls on February 11.
