Local 5147 Update
After much work we have two bits of good news: the first floor Cafe will be open on the weekends for staff and patients, and our contracts are ready!
Our contract expired on September 30th and it is time for you to take action!
The wages that UH is putting on the table are still not satisfactory for us, and we believe our work is worth more. Healthcare workers deserve better than less than 1% across-the-board increases!
Local 5107 Constitution and By-Laws Amendments Vote
Your HPAE Local 5107 Executive Board has recently conducted a review of our local union constitution and bylaws and has recommended several amendments that will strengthen our union and improve our local union administration.

On 9/24/2024, we met with management for our second day of bargaining for our new contract. We made some progress and have two tentative agreements.
