Rutgers 5094 Bargaining Update: June 6, 2023
Following our last bargaining session, we reviewed the package presented by the employer with an open mind.
HPAE Local 5629 Emergency Membership Meeting for Sunrise House Members: Wednesday, June 21
Late Thursday, June 15, HPAE received the attached notice from ACC that states the State DOH revoked their license to operate and has ordered that Sunrise House be closed.

Local 5097 Bargaining Update with Complete Care: New Contract Ratified!
We had the biggest turnout ever for a ratification vote yesterday and we cannot thank you enough. This shows that the members our engaged and taking part in their union.

Local 5142 June Update
Our new contract with Salem Memorial Hospital/Inspira officially went into effect on June 1st. This comprehensive agreement has many more articles regarding our wages and working conditions than our prior contract.
Wage Negotiations Restarted
EH reached out to HPAE on Wednesday, 5/31/23, stating they are willing to re-engage in negotiations regarding wages; they also stated that they have a new wage proposal.
Hand Hygiene Dispensers
Recently, HPAE has come to learn about sensors being placed in soap and/or Purell dispensers. In addition, sensors will be placed in or on employee ID badges.

Local 5097 Bargaining Update with Complete Care: Tentative Agreement Has Been Reached; Ratification Vote Wednesday, June 7
