Nominations for the Local 5058 AFT Convention Delegates officially closed on April 27, 2026. Following the close of the nomination period, the local has received only one (1) nomination.
BARGAINING UPDATE #1 WITH COMPLETE CARE AT HARBORAGE
Complete Care at Harborage has confirmed May 4th to start negotiations. It is imperative that all members get involved in this process so that we can maintain and protect our contract.

This past weekend, a patient entered our Emergency Department and moved through various parts of the hospital, interacting with staff, undergoing tests in radiology, and remaining in the pediatric ED.
Nurses Ratify New Contract that Give Monmouth County Patients Access to a Hospital with Safe Nurse to Patient Ratios
HPAE President Debbie White, RN, said the safe staffing language negotiated will also allow the hospital to retain current staff and attract new nurses to JSUMC.
Historic Labor Agreement to Give Patients Access to a Safe Staffing Hospital in Monmouth County
Registered Nurses at Jersey Shore University Medical Center represented by HPAE have struck a deal with Hackensack Meridian Health on a new contract that includes enforceable safe staffing ratios, better pay, and enhanced workplace violence prevention measures.
