HPAE Rowan University Negotiations Update - May 25, 2016
Earlier this month, our negotiation team for HPAE Local 5094 and Local 5089 returned to the table to resume negotiations with the State for a new contract at Rowan University.

HPAE 5089 Union Election Underway
Elections are currently underway for HPAE Local 5089 Officers and Representatives.
There are only two contested positions:
- Vice President for Rutgers and Rowan Universities
- Vice President for UH Emergency and Critical Care Division
Only Local 5089 members in these Divisions will receive ballots. All
HPAE 5089 members vote to approve new Rutgers contract
On Wednesday, December 9th, after five days of voting, the members of HPAE Local 5089 voted by an overwhelming majority of 99% to ratify our new contract with Rutgers University.
This is the first contract we've negotiated with the University since the merger with UMDNJ

The HPAE Local 5089 Rutgers Contract Ratification Vote begins Friday, December 4, 2015. You have the opportunity to accept or reject the tentative agreement your negotiating committee reached with Rutgers management.
Voting is open through 3:00 pm Wednesday, December 9, 2015.
