HPAE Local 5091 reached an agreement with the new operator at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center, who recognizes the strength of working collaboratively to improve patient care and working conditions.
Yesterday our membership ratified the new agreement with Bergen New Bridge by an overwhelming majority. Thanks to all who came out to vote. The contract takes effect on June 1st.
Our bargaining committee recommends a YES vote to ratify the agreement settled on May 15th with Bergen New Bridge Medical Center.
We had our eleventh negotiations session with management. The action was quick with a lot of productive discussion. Shortly after lunch we agreed on a MOA for a new, three-year contract!!
