The next Contract Action Team meeting is Wednesday is also April 26th and we are still recruiting membership for this team.

On behalf of HPAE Local 5094, we reached out to Rutgers to call on the University to immediately implement remote work for all members who can work remotely. We continue to be underwhelmed by the University’s response to the COVID-19
Over 83% of our membership in the Children's Health Unit signed a petition of solidarity calling on Rutgers and the DCF to maintain a safe work environment in the face of rising Covid numbers.
Within a week, and despite being spread across the state, more than 65% of HPAE FXB Members signed a petition of solidarity in support of returning to work with safety at the center of the plan.
The University approached HPAE locals 5089 and 5094, and other Rutgers unions, with a proposal for a 2-year contract extension that includes a nominal wage increase.
