The election has begun for HPAE Local 5103 Officers. The election is being conducted by the American Arbitration Association (AAA). Ballots were mailed to all members in good standing on Monday, August 4, 2025. The deadline for receipt of ballots
In accordance with the Constitution and Bylaws of HPAE local 5103, the election of local union officers will take place by secret mail ballot.
We are excited to announce that WE won our "Sixth and Seventh Day" Arbitration. The Arbiter ruled that the Red Cross must go back to our interpretation of the language and awarded us back pay as well.
We are happy to announce that we have ratified the National Addendum as well as the local contract.

Our final bargaining session with management will be next Tuesday the 28th, and we’ll be holding virtual meetings for a vote on the National Addendum and local contract on the 30th.

After contentious negotiations before the holiday, we continue to be far apart with management on our two biggest issues: staffing and overtime pay.
I wanted to take a moment to update you on the implementation of Project Impact and the ongoing effects bargaining around it.
Unfortunately bargaining has stalled nationally and will not resume until the fall, however we will be moving forward with preparations for local bargaining.
