Rutgers Labor Relations Department has confirmed for our union the schedule of the negotiated pay increases for our HPAE Local 5135 bargaining unit members. Although there has been a delay, the increases will be paid retroactively.
On Wednesday, December 9th, after five days of voting, the members of HPAE Local 5135 voted by an overwhelming majority of 97% to ratify our new contract with Rutgers University.
This is the first contract we've negotiated with the University since the merger with UMDNJ
