Now that we have our ratified contract, it’s important that we continue the momentum and solidarity we have built!
Today, our Union ratified a collective bargaining agreement with the hospital. This could not happen without the solidarity of all the nurses that stood behind us during this fight.
HPAE Local 5142 members, who have been negotiating with Community Healthcare Associates, LLC, and its owner Bill Colgan, since December 2019, will vote over the next few days over whether to accept the terms their committee negotiated with the employer.
AAA, American Arbitration Association will be conducting Local 5142 Contract Ratification vote. The emailing of voting instructions and Personal Identification Numbers (“PINs”) will take place on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at 5:00 A.M.
Because of all the solidarity you have shown in this fight over the past several months, we have reached a tentative agreement with the hospital! More information will be coming out very shortly with details of the agreement as well
Because of your solidarity, we did see some movement at the table when we met with the employer on Friday, and we will continue to hold conversations next week to try to come to an agreement.
