On August 28, your Union Officers met with management for our monthly meeting. We brought up your concerns to management so they can be addressed.

Your Negotiations Committee met with Management. We continued to review the financial information we collected, and discussed Wages, Staffing, Information, and Down-staffing as well.

We delivered our petition demanding better pay, benefits, and staffing. Management was visibly surprised to see so many people standing together demanding better!
The City Council in Jersey City has passed a resolution supporting “safe staffing standards in collective bargaining agreements, and proposed legislation and hereby urges the NJ Legislature to pass the ‘Patient Protection and Safe Staffing Act,’”
