While Senate Republicans Introduce New “Repeal and Replace” Bill, HPAE Fights to Save the ACA
Republicans in the U.S. Senate today introduced a bill to replace and repeal the Affordable Care Act (ACA). HPAE is continuing to work with other unions and progressive groups to save the ACA. HPAE Vice President Bernie Gerard and Local 5091 President Jeff Peck met with staff from Senator Menendez’office today to urge the Senator to resist strongly efforts to repeal the ACA. Local 5094 Rep Ana Delgado recently met with Senator Cory Booker to urge his continued support for the ACA. (See photo above.)
