Help elect candidates who will put working families first!
}
This year in Newark, we have a chance to make our voices heard at the ballot box on Tuesday, May 13.
When the governor pushed through the reorganization of UMDNJ, our union turned to the Newark Mayor and City Council for help in our fight to secure protections for workers, patients and the community in the legislation.
Now, we have an opportunity to elect a new mayor who will stand up with community residents and health care workers to protect access to quality and affordable health care.
Join us door-to-door and speak to fellow union members about the importance of this upcoming election for working families in Newark!
Labor walks: Every Saturday between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
Phone banks: Every Tuesday between 5:30 PM and 8:30 PM.
The location for both will be at the Newark Teacher's Union at 1019 Broad Street.
