Nomination and Election of Local 5089 Convention Delegates

Our national union, the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) will be holding its 83rd Convention this year starting on July 11th in Los Angeles. And, our HPAE State Federation will be holding its statewide biennial convention this year on Oct 9th and 10th in Atlantic City. The conventions serve as the highest decision making body of our union. Members must be nominated and elected to serve as delegates. This year delegate elections will be held simultaneously. Nomination forms have been mailed to all members. The deadline for nominations is Monday, April 28.
