RUTGERS WORKERS NEED FAIR CONTRACTS NOW!

Nearly 20,000 Rutgers employees and our unions are in negotiations with the University for a new contract.

So far, management has offered no raises to staff and proposed numerous give-backs. Most contracts have already expired. It’s time to step up pressure on management.

Join us on Thursday, October 23, at 12:00 Noon, as staff and faculty from different unions throughout Rutgers mobilize for simultaneous lunchtime pickets across multiple Rutgers campuses.

We are calling on President Barchi to respect faculty and staff with the fair contracts we deserve.

*Please note: Due to anticipated bad weather and sensitivity for University Hospital’s ongoing Ebola response, we’ve decided to move the Newark action indoors to the Medical Science Building. It will no longer be at the corner of 12th and Bergen.
