Nominations for Local 5097 Officer Elections are now open

The Nominations/Election Committee announces that there are three local 5097 officer positions that are up for election this year.  Nominations for these positions are currently being accepted by the nomination committee.

POSITIONS:

• President
• Vice President
• Secretary/Treasurer

(Job descriptions can be found in your Local Constitution and By-Laws.)

TERM OF OFFICE: January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2021

NOMINATIONS DEADLINE: 10 a.m. on NOVEMBER 14, 2019

ELECTION DATE:  Ballots to be mailed to all members in November. If it is an uncontested election, the committee will case one ballot on behalf of the slate in which case no ballots will be sent. Candidates may examine membership ship be present for the mailing of the ballots.  Please advise the committee if you wish to. When submitting nomination, please confirm with committee that it was received by November 15, 2019. Otherwise, committee is not responsible for missing nominations.

ELIGIBILITY: Any HPAE Local 5097 member in good standing is eligible to run for office. All new officers agree to attend HPAE New Officer training.
