Local 5004 Negotiations Update, May 26

Negotiations Session 8

Today at negotiations was more of the same. We were able to come to an agreement on a few minor issues but the hospital negotiation team made it clear that they are “Not Interested” in any of our major issues such as staffing, education, wages and vacation.

The hospital’s negotiation team keeps saying that they would like to reach an agreement but with no movement on our major issues how can that be accomplished.

We need the membership to send a message to hospital management that there will be no contract without addressing our major issues. When you see your managers or directors simply state: “Staffing, Wages, Education, Vacation is the only way to end negotiations!”

Make every effort to attend our next scheduled membership meeting!
