Local 5004 Negotiations Update, May 13, 2024

Today (5/13), we had our 7th negotiation session. While we had hoped to receive a response from management regarding our economic and staffing proposals, they expressed the need for more guidance and time to give a comprehensive response.

Our strength and solidarity do not go unnoticed by management – and it was obvious in their comments today – keep up the great work!

Remember that Friday is button/sticker day. Don’t forget to wear yours and show your support for your Committee!!

Also a reminder about our upcoming Strike Authorization Vote on May 16th – there are set times for meetings, but someone will be there all day for you to cast your vote if necessary. We need every member to come and have their voice heard!!

Finally, we have a legislative breakfast coming up on 5/22. This is chance for our members to voice their concerns to local politicians. Keep your eye out for the RSVP form.

Our next bargaining session is set for Wednesday, May 15th. We will keep the membership updated as negotiations proceed.
