Local 5004 Negotiations Update, May 20, 2024

Today (5/20) we had our 10th negotiation session. Despite only offering a $1.75/hour raise, they came to us and rejected almost ALL of our other outstanding economics. No increase in charge, shift differential, on call pay, floating, overtime etc. It appears that management is not taking this a seriously as we would have expected given the situation.

We plan on providing them with an updated counter on staffing as well as some of our economics tomorrow. We also hope to put to bed some final, non-economic issues.

Remember, we have a legislative breakfast coming up on 5/22 (8-9:30am) This is a chance for our members to voice their concerns to local politicians. Our next bargaining session is set for tomorrow, May 21st. We will keep the membership updated as negotiations proceed.
