Local 5118 Negotiations Update, May 8

Cooper was supposed to present their health insurance proposal on Wednesday. They did NOT come through. They said the representatives from Conner Strong were not prepared to present the information. This is incredibly frustrating because we must have their health insurance proposal before we make any economic decisions. The representatives are confirmed to be at negotiations on May 13.

The day continued to be frustrating and unproductive.

We again went through many of the open proposals. We asked multiple times why some of our proposals are causing them so much angst. NO RESPONSE. Cooper returned for the afternoon session, with NONSENSE. On May 13 we will reject everything they presented.

Again spent a lot of time discussing their inability to keep us safe at work. Specifically, when we are assaulted. We proposed that we should be given paid leave up to one week that does not come out of our PTO bank. We told them they missed the boat on this one!! We will continue to pound away on this proposal.

We signed two Tentative Agreements. Article 11.3 (Re) Assignment Guidelines and Side Letter 3 Artificial Intelligence.
