University Hospital Local 5094 Negotiations Update: UH’s Unacceptable Offer! SIGN THE PETITION
On September 23 and 24 we met with University Hospital management to continue negotiating over our contract. The administration’s latest offer is insulting and far from what we deserve:
- Only a 0.75% across-the-board salary increase
- A step increase, which we have been fighting for, but only for three years
- Juneteenth as a holiday, but Good Friday taken away
- No funds for parking
- No educational differentials
- No union protection for per diems
In good news, we were able to expand bereavement leave and sick leave for the next contract.
Our contract expires this Monday and we cannot settle for these unacceptable terms. If you believe we deserve better, sign the petition in support of a fair contract here. Let’s demand the fair pay and respect that we have earned!
