Local 5103 Bargaining Update, December 20, 2024

First of all, we appreciate the members who came out and spoke passionately about the issues of staffing and overtime pay at our last session. While this had a powerful impact, management is continuing to stubbornly reject our proposals, and we have more work to do to win in these critical issues. We are in the process of scheduling a bargaining date in January.

We’ll be rolling out actions at the beginning of 2025 to put pressure on management ahead of our next bargaining session. Please be on the lookout for these actions as we’ll need everyone’s involvement to win a contract that protects us as workers, our donors, and the integrity of the life saving products that we collect.

We hope everyone enjoys the holidays as we prepare our next steps.
