Local 5118 Negotiations Update, March 27
To date, a great deal of our time has been spent discussing the need to improve KEEPING US SAFE AT WORK. We have a long way to go. Again, we went through each of our proposals across the table.

The majority of today was spent on discussing Violence Prevention. They presented a power point that was filled with more of the same old stuff.

It has come to our attention that management is telling Per Diem Service workers that there was no raise negotiated for them this year. This is not true.

Participants of this workshop will learn how to communicate about workplace issues, how to best identify which issues they should address, and how to engage and mobilize their colleagues both individually and collectively to make improvements regarding those identified issues.
