Local 5112 Membership Meeting: June 30, 2023
We will be meeting on CSE in the Activity room from 6:30 am to 8:00 am and from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm. We will be introducing our current Union Staff Representative, Christine Munck.

We know there are continuing problems with staffing. As of the meeting last month with management, incentives were to be continued. But they are offered at the discretion of management dependent on the need of the unit.
Although we were able to secure some important wins in our recent contract, we did have more NO votes than in previous contract Ratification votes.

Today, June 22, 2023, HPAE met with HMH for negotiations. We were in discussions all day and we have reached a tentative agreement. Details to be discussed in the ratification meetings.
When you voted on our positions, you sent a message. You gave us not just your vote of confidence in representing you in the workplace but you also entrusted us to keep your future best interests at heart.
We want to thank all of the members who came out to yesterday’s Emergency Membership Meeting and want to bring everyone up to date with what we currently know and understand about the situation.
Following our last bargaining session, we reviewed the package presented by the employer with an open mind.
Late Thursday, June 15, HPAE received the attached notice from ACC that states the State DOH revoked their license to operate and has ordered that Sunrise House be closed.

We had the biggest turnout ever for a ratification vote yesterday and we cannot thank you enough. This shows that the members our engaged and taking part in their union.
