Local 5138 Bargaining Update: Sessions # 7, April 4, 2023
HPAE Local 5138 held its seventh (7th) day of negotiations with HMH today, April 4. We presented HMH with our counters for today and went over each of them.

During our latest Violence Prevention /Safety meeting with management it was brought to the Union’s attention that our members who were assigned Personal Panic Alarm Pendants (PPA's) were not wearing them.

Local 5147 Election Update, April 4, 2023
This year we have several contested elections for Local 5147 officers. Ballots will be mailed out this week to Local 5147 membership by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) .
Local 5105 First Bargaining Update
On Wednesday, March 29, our committee met with the employer for our first negotiations session. We presented our initial non-economic proposals and answered some clarifying questions from management.

We have received an email dated March 23rd, from Howard Pripas, Director, Employee and Labor Relations. Mr. Pripas chooses to disparage the HPAE nurses.

HMH came to the table and shared a presentation on the proposed performance evaluation, which incorporates HMH’s team member behaviors (the 5 C’s) and a change in the performance evaluation rating scale from 3 to 5 points.
