Yesterday (Jan 20), our bargaining team met with Management. We discussed Wages, Staffing, Differentials, Hours & Schedules, Holidays, and The HPAE Retiree Medical Trust.
This pay period, deductions for the HPAE Retiree Medical Trust will begin. This is the Pension-type benefit we voted to set up in July. All Full-Time, Half-Time, and Part-Time members contribute $0.20 per hour ... towards the trust.
The Union has scheduled a meeting with Management for Monday, 11/3, to review and discuss the details of the new insurance plan.
