Your HPAE Local 5131 officers are excited to announce an upcoming member appreciation event at Terra Nonno Winery in Millville on September 14.

The Nominations/Election Committee announces that we are now accepting nominations to represent Local 5131 at this year’s HPAE State Convention , as well as the AFT National Convention.

INSPIRA at Mullica Hill (MH) has notified the 5621 members that they are restructuring the unit from a LRDP model to a LDP model to mimic Vineland with three separate and distinct units of Labor and Delivery (L&D), Mother/Baby (MB)
Case Managers at Inspira Medical Center Mullica Hill Win NLRB Vote to join HPAE
Nursing case managers at Inspira Medical Center Mullica Hill voted overwhelming today to join New Jersey’s largest union of healthcare workers, HPAE, in a National Labor Relations Board election.

Local 5131 Upcoming Local Union Events
We have general membership meetings on February 22nd at 12 pm and 4 pm. Both will be virtual via Zoom. Our officers will give updates from the staffing committee, grievances, and health and safety issues.
Local 5131 PCU Staffing Meeting Update
We recently had a meeting with management and administration to address some of the ongoing issues in the PCU’s.
Settlement for COVID Vaccine Exempted Nurses
Our HPAE Inspira locals jointly filed grievances in 2021 regarding COVID testing protocols.
Inspira Health integrates Salem Medical Center into system
Inspira Health recently announced that the integration of Salem Medical Center into the health system is complete, as of Sunday. The hospital has been rebranded as Inspira Medical Center Mannington.
Inspira Violence Prevention Update
Our HPAE locals, representing all 6 campuses at Inspira, met with management this month to debrief the violent incident at Vineland.
