We have made some progress on some of the key issues members raised with us during and after ratification.
Enclosed is an update on the status of our contract in the wake of this week's vote, and to share some further information on what to expect moving forward.
We are pleased to inform you that on May 31, 2025, we officially reached a tentative agreement with Inspira on our new contract!
As of today, 5/29, we have a few new tentative agreements for your review. See below. After last week’s historic strike vote, we have seen more movement at the table related to the simpler proposals.
Inspira Health Network would be hardest hit if Health Professionals and Allied Employees, the state’s largest nurses union, choose to go on strike.
The thousands of HPAE nurses and healthcare professionals represented in Bergen, Salem, Cumberland and Gloucester Counties have made clear they will not accept contracts that do not include enforceable nurse-to-patient ratios.
In response to Inspira’s inability to meet our demands, 83% of Inspira HPAE members participated in our HPAE strike vote, and 98% of voters authorized a strike!

Colleagues: We are writing for two reasons: firstly, to let you know about upcoming membership meetings (which will include detailed bargaining updates) on May 20th and 21st; and secondly, to share additional information about strike authorization. It is CRITICALLY IMPORTANT that
