HPAE RNs at Inspira Talk with Community Members About Safe Staffing

With the contract deadline extended 10 days past the May 31st expiration date, Inspira nurses from Local 5131 and 5621 talked this week to community members about their fight for safe staffing in the current negotiations.

Nurses had conversations with community members in several locations, including Sun National Bank, where Inspira Board member David Galetto serves on the bank’s board. They also talked to students and community members at Rowan Boulevard, where Inspira Board member Dante German’s company, Nexus Properties, has done development at the Rowan University campus.

David Hemple, Inspira Foundation Board member and President of Century Savings Bank, talked to nurses who were leafletting community members in Bridgeton, NJ outside the bank. As the contract deadline nears, Inspira nurses will continue to reach out to community members as they push for improved staffing at all of the Inspira hospitals.
