Member Update: FXB Return to Office Actions Update and Next Steps
Over 83% of our membership in the Children’s Health Unit signed a petition of solidarity calling on Rutgers and the DCF to maintain a safe work environment in the face of rising Covid numbers. Member unity is at the center of our efforts as a union to ensure that we are safe at work. HPAE Reps are calling on all members to take these three steps to stand united for safety for all:
- Sign our class action grievance for health and safety at work. Our unity will demonstrate to management and the State of New Jersey that We Are Not Disposable. Click to sign your support here: https://actionnetwork.org/petitions/we-are-not-disposable/
- Report covid hazards and other health and safety violations to your reps and to Local5094@hpae.org with photos and statements of what you are experiencing in the workplace and be sure to copy the rep you work with in preparation for a health and safety complaint to PEOSH.
- Expect an update in the coming days for ways to continue to show support for safety for all at work.
Take care of your health and the health of others by practicing social distancing and wear an N95 if in the office. Our unity is our power.
In solidarity,
HPAE FXB Childrens Health Unit Reps
