As contract negotiations begin this year, it is critical that we hear directly from you. The Rutgers Contract Survey is how members’ real experiences and concerns are documented and used to set bargaining priorities.
As we mentioned in last week’s message, Governor Murphy and the NJ state legislature chose to include in the state budget a savings of $200M over two years that would be achieved by increasing your health insurance costs.
Our contract with Rutgers expires on 6/30/2026 and we need to start preparing for negotiations now if we want to build on the wins we accomplished last time in negotiations.
The American Arbitration Association (AAA) has completed the tally of ballots and certified the results of the Local 5094 Officer and Representative Election consistent with the HPAE local election rules.
The election has begun for HPAE Local 5094 Officers and Representatives. The election is being conducted by the American Arbitration Association (AAA). Ballots were mailed to all members in good standing on Thursday, August 7, 2025.
