Negotiations Update, April 17, 2024

On Monday, April 14, , your Union Negotiation Team, representing all bargaining units, met with Management.

We presented our Union’s demands and discussed CarePoint’s financial status.

• CarePoint’s financial situation has not significantly changed since our last meeting in February.
• CarePoint is in the fourth week of the 10-week Management Services Contract with Insight, which will then have the option to buy.
• There has been no progress on the deal with Hudson Regional.
• CarePoint has spent the funds that were provided by the State.
• The next negotiations session will be April 30.

What to Expect:

• There will be regular negotiations updates.
• Initial bargaining sessions are often slow.
• CarePoint may ask for an extension.
• CarePoint may try to take things away.
• Be prepared to show up to put pressure on Management
