Settlement for COVID Vaccine Exempted Nurses
Our HPAE Inspira locals jointly filed grievances in 2021 regarding COVID testing protocols.
Inspira Health integrates Salem Medical Center into system
Inspira Health recently announced that the integration of Salem Medical Center into the health system is complete, as of Sunday. The hospital has been rebranded as Inspira Medical Center Mannington.
Inspira Violence Prevention Update
Our HPAE locals, representing all 6 campuses at Inspira, met with management this month to debrief the violent incident at Vineland.
Local 5621 Membership Update - Float Nurses
We are excited to announce that we have come to an agreement with the Hospital that will create a “float” RN position.
Notice of 2023 Nomination and Election of HPAE local 5621 Officers
The Nominations/Election Committee announces that there are five (5) officer positions up for election this year. The officer positions are President, Co-Vice Presidents, Secretary, Treasurer.
Local 5621 June Membership Update
We know there are continuing problems with staffing. As of the meeting last month with management, incentives were to be continued. But they are offered at the discretion of management dependent on the need of the unit.
Local 5621 May Membership Update
Our local joined HPAE members from across the state in Trenton to push for legislation outlining nurse to patient ratios. This would make ratios a law rather than letting staffing numbers be at the discretion of healthcare facilities
