We hosted a Solidarity Walk on Tuesday, June 30th (our contract expiration date) on all 3 Rutgers campuses! This brings visibility and lets Rutgers know that we're here, we're strong, and we're watching! Stay tuned for more actions coming up.
Local 5094 Rutgers UBHC Labor/Management Meeting Update
On April 30, HPAE union representatives attended a meeting with Rutgers upper management and Labor Relations personnel to discuss the working conditions at UBHC.

Members who participate in the Flexible Spending Account (FSA) program will have a new service provider, beginning July 1, 2026. Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield will change from Horizon My Way to WEX.

They have made it known that most of them are out at the end of June so negotiations will not happen then. They will continue in July (after our contract has expired). It has been an obvious time filler right
